How do I plan a science fair project?
- Make sure you get your teacher’s approval and any necessary SRC/IRC
approval BEFORE beginning any experimentation!
- The 2010 Student Handbook is a great place to start planning your project.
- Use the Intel ISEF Rules Wizard to help define what rules, regulations and forms you
need to be certain you know and follow.
- Once your teacher has registered your project, complete the registration of your
project at Intel Northwest Science Expo under the BHSE listing.
How do I plan a science fair project?
- Brainstorm what aspect of science or engineering you're interested in, and then begin
researching topics. A good place for ideas is the Advanced Project Guide at
sciencebuddies.org
- Next, you'll want to figure out what category to compete in. See the Categories
listings at Intel ISEF.
- Use the best resources for high level competition to plan your project and find mentor
support.
- Follow the tips and advice from former ISEF students.
- Share your thoughts and get good ideas from friends at the Beaverton Hillsboro
